August 21st is the evening of the Barn Dance and Hog roast. Tickets now on sale for £20 each. The food commences at 7pm followed by the Barn Dance at 8pm. A 30 minute break will be at 9pm with dancing again until you drop. The bar will close around 11.30pm. For those not requiring hog, various alternatives will be offered but please let the office know when purchasing tickets.

September 18th is the night for soul music, provided by the live band Soul Agents. Support act for this evening will be a disco of soul provided by our own Dave Smith. Food will be based upon Southern USA culinary delights, as we are planning to provide a casual evening of quality entertainment. Tickets are £20 each and are now on sale.

There will be Sky Sports coverage on the big screen for the Ryder Cup and we are exploring the possibility of providing bar food to enable you to spent some time with us watching the coverage

October 16th is the Spanish themed evening. We have booked a classical Spanish guitarist plus flamenco dancers and singer. Alan will provide us with an authentic Spanish supper.

Please note that the planned race night has been postponed to a later date and has been replaced with a Draw Night. This will give you an opportunity to win rather than lose money!

Further events in the planning stage are: the popular supper lectures, a themed Irish evening to coincide with Paddy's Day and an evening, hopefully a Friday, with a sports raconteur.

The Carol Concert, with the Ware Brass Band, on December 11th, Children's Party on Saturday December 18th in the afternoon and New Years Eve are all booked. We have changed the format for NYE where we are having an entertainer and disco rather than just the latter. Burns Night follows later in January
