Tom Shadbolt wins the Italian Amatuer Championship beating Matte Manassero 1 up in the final (21.09.09)

Hannah Burke ( + 3 Hcp) and Lucy Williams Hcp (0)– Summer 2009
Hannah Burke
· finished in seventh position in the The Astor Salver - at The Berkshire
· At the Irish Open Amateur Strokeplay Championship later at
Douglas , Hannah lost on the 7th extra hole
· came second in the Women’s strokeplay Championship at Enmore (
· was joint first at The Berkshire in the Pre-qualifier for the Ricoh Women’s British Open. She then played in the Final Qualifying round but did not finish in the top 20
Lucy Williams
· played for her university at the World Student Matchplay Championship in
Munich , captaining the only team of four girls who won the event.
· came second losing on the second play off hole in the Scottish Ladies' Junior Open Stroke Play Championship at Nairn
At the Ladies British Open Amateur Championship at the Royal St David’s link course. Hannah and Lucy qualified for the top 64 knockout competition.
November News
Lucy played in the British University Strokeplay Midlands event in November 2009 at Woodhall Spa (Hotchkin Course) and shot 4 under for a 69 followed by 2 under for a 71 to win the girls event by 11 shots and beat all of the boys by 2!! This has cut her handicap to approx +1; an amazing achievement
