To cater for golfers' playing needs there is a fully stocked shop, offering leading brands of balls, clubs and clothing. Buggies, trolleys and clubs are available for hire. The shop is a major PING stockist and fitting centre.

The head professional is Barney Puttick who is supported by PGA registered assistant Rob Leonard and shop manager Celio Teixeiras who can help with club fitting. Barney and his team are happy to recommend equipment to suit your game and have a wide selection of trial clubs to ensure the choice you make is the right one. Equipment can be tested on the practice area before purchase.

Barney has been at Mid-Herts since 2000 and is renowned for his successful coaching techniques. He made a name for himself as Hertfordshire County Coach for many years and especially with his coaching of the Hertfordshire players, and he is continuing this success with the club's own juniors. Several of the juniors he has taught have gone on to become excellent golfers, winning major tournaments - including Mid-Herts own Hannah Burke, Lucy Williams and Tom Shadbolt.
