Membership

 

Mid-Herts is a private club with approximately 800 members and normally a few vacancies occur each year.

It is a very friendly club and new members can quickly meet other golfers by joining in the informal “swindles”, which seem to occur on every day of the week, the evening Eclectic competition on Wednesday evenings from April to September and/or entering the other formal competitions.  There is also a variety of well-supported social events

There is a strong ladies’ section with over 130 playing members; Tuesday is the Main competition day.  Because of the overall friendly nature of the Club, there are many mixed competitions and matches.  There is an enthusiastic Alternative Day Business Ladies section.  Details of their matches and competitions can be seen on the Diary pages of this website, along with all the other golfing and social events of the Club.

The club has a policy of encouraging, supporting and integrating juniors and the Club, consequently, has an active and enthusiastic junior section of boys and girls.
